    good morning companion@s.I have a problem with a voodoo RV 1.2 (clone) that a friend brought me. What happens to me is that it stays in fixed starting, I put the bootloder through usb, I clone it with usb everything is swallowed perfectly and on display it puts me finished, and I turn off and on the receiver, and it keeps on starting me. I injected the cypress programmer, the erase is good, then I put its flash 750_cfe_3_0_111012_release. and the download is done in thirteen seconds, I think that time is little, for that flash, if you can give me an idea that I can do I will be grateful thank you very much best regards.     Try to upload an old image, like the Ferrari v2 images.

    And check if you can upgrade the box to the "VU J Security Board/chip", it could be handy as your box then would become like an original and so you can use all clone and original images.

    One more info, the Red Led could also be a problem on the 1-2 capacitors on the motherboard where the PSU gives the power... to be checked.

    Try older v2 images, as for me it's related to the security chip,... and/or upgrade to the VU J board to have the box compatible with newer images.

    Do a photo of motherboard and post here (if possible where is the security chip in this box).

    Your box is a Ferrari with v3.0 chip syncmos

    You can upgrade to VU J board and will then be able to use any clone and original images, with the actul board you will be able to use only v2 images.

    Yes, Ferrari v2 images,

    If you want newer, you will have to replace the security board to VU J Board.

    Indeed, and when you have installed the ferrari image, and it still keeps on the starting issue, then it's most likely that your security chip has some issues.
    As you can see here,
    Frontpanel, only red led or stuck on Starting...

    Then, a good solution is to upgrade your old security chip module for the VuJ version so that you are be able to install the newest original duo image files, or the latest Vuj image files.

    Tell your friend that just with the replacement of the little board to Japhar VU J, he can then use all images included the latest OpenPLi 7.2 etc... I think the upgrade is worth for a VU+ Duo box, as it's only a board replacement (with some easy soldering).

    thanks toysoft, I don't think I touch it anymore, I left the VTI V.6.0.1 FERRARI V2a on and it works very well thanks for everything you are very kind best regards
