    Hello,

I am trying to figure out how the infrared is working on this receiver and i wonder if are you able to provide some images with front panel too, maybe the IR part in more detail?
It happens to have the qwerty remote control or do you know any IR code from the qwerty part?
The IR receiver is wired directly to the bcm7376 chip?

    Many thanks for your time.

Q1 Maybe this weekend I'm be able to make some.
Q2 I think that the older solo/duo remote control also will work.
    Q3 It probably is.

FYI, Before you not came up to it, you don't have to use a remote controller to control the board.
You can also use the openwebif web interface for it.

    Hi,

Thanks, actually i am looking to find IR codes for their qwerty remote control, i built an android app https://github.com/serdeliuk/irBuster to send custom crafted IR commands and i can confirm, they have only one RC which can control all of their STB boxes by changing a preset formed by two bits, they call this mode and there are only two modes. They use RC6 mode 6A, but the qwerty part seems to use other protocol.
I was thinking they have two IR receivers, this is why i was asking.
Their proprietary kernel module allow a lot of more key presses than the standard IR keyboard has buttons, unfortunately is closed source and i am unable to see what they are doing in the background.

I think i will open my solo 4k tonight to look if they have one or two IR receivers

    Best regards,

    M

Just a small update for anyone interested, they use over the same IR receiver two kind of data RC_6A_32 and RC_MM, probably the IR receiver was chosen for RCMM frequency

When searching to display 00-1104502 or other numbers it gives not really the result, but searching to LCD for Vu+ Solo 4K i'll see some who seems to sell these as dmm-tv dot com
But i can't say if they really can/will deliver it, or if it's save to buy parts there.

Dziękuję za informację. Kupowanie tam jest dla mnie nieopłacalne. Mam na myśli więcej o rodzaju wyświetlacza, aby później wybrać wyświetlacz. Dziś możesz kupić wiele różnych wyświetlaczy. Czyli gdyby była informacja o oryginalnym modelu to można by wymienić którą zamiennik Czy można uzyskać takie informacje?

"Thank you for the information. Buying there is unprofitable for me. I mean more about the type of display to choose the display later. Today you can buy many different displays. So if there was information about the original model, it could be replaced with a replacement. Is it possible to obtain such information?"

Q: Is it possible to obtain such information?
A: No idea, as long as there is no product type number on it, it becomes difficult.
Maybe it's on the back of the display, but I can't check that from here.
