The VuJ board can be used on the solo2 clones, if you modify the board to a socked version which is given in the solo2 drawing. If the drawing from the security chip sector is different than your board then I need at least a good picture from it to see if it's possible. And, you can also replace the chip for the VuJ chip, this will also work but I advice the socket modification because when needed then, it's easily to replace.

The VuJ chip can be used on several receivers as long it's related to the Vu boxes it has a good chance. There are several boxes tested which you can see in the list, and I expect that it will grow. Boxes which are not in the list are not (yet) tested but it's possible that it just works. In any case, to know without that I had tested, and you want to do a attempt to do it yourself, then I need at least a good quality picture of the security chip area to see if it has a good chance that it will work. As for a solo2 box, the (old) security chip should be placed in this section, under the hdd. If this is not present then you could have a original box, or it could be placed on another location. Nevertheless, these vuj chip is only tested on the type boards with the security chip on this location, under the hdd.
