Hello to the whole forum, first of all a thank you x the big (and I think it's the only one of your kind) work you do.
I have a problem with a v + duo2, it does not turn on and there is only white light.
Is there nothing at the pcb x schema level to check tensions and more?
Ps excuse me english translated from google.

I'd been happy to help you, but unfortunately I do not have this duo2 in my possession, nor had one in repair.
And so, I do not have or know any measurements of this receiver to help you with it.

Maybe I can help you if you give me a high resolution image of the motherboard, in any case of the Dc / Dc ic's area.
Than, maybe I can see what voltages it should give on the picture.

Or maybe other members are be able to give you some support, or else you have to wait about two weeks, then I might have bought one to provide support for the Duo2.

Well, at least I have found a motherboard picture but can't say which output voltages it should be due the picture quality.
But check at least the power supply, if it's deliver the 12v, and check the output voltages on these picture the red spots if you have there some voltages.
    Vuplusduo2-voltage-spots-markings.jpg

Needless to say that you must be careful with the measurements, do not create any short circuit when you measure.
Tip, Use a needle probe, or mount one on it if you use a standard measurement probe.
Especially with these type Voltage regulators, better is to measure the output voltages on the resistor.

    Good luck...

Hi, I apologize for not having responded right away but work first of all.
Thanks x the answer, I will try to control tensions and I'll let it know.
A greeting to the whole forum.

Same picture but now with the voltages.
Voltages are measured from a brand new receiver and so these voltages should be accurate.
All vdc measurements are from the outputs of the dc to dc regulators.
    Good luck..

Note, box should/must also work without the front panel connected.

First of all a thank you x the attention.
Unfortunately, I have little free time.
In the weekend I hope to give a check and I'll let it know.
    Greetings to the whole forum.

Greetings to all and thanks x help.
I work very hard, but I have a lot of time to dedicate myself to the voodoo
I only tried to replace the regulators but without getting a resolution.
I feel that after a while 'turned on it feels like a hiss near the processor
I'm afraid the cip has gone.
The tensions I tried and when it sibles back more or less regular (and the fan
    come back to turn.
Both the processor and the regulators heat up a lot.
For now I stop for lack of time then we'll see.
    Thank you all.

Yeah unfortunately not every repair succeed but as for the hissing sound and heat up more than one Dc to Dc regulator could be a overload from the cpu.
But still, it's not to say for sure because it could still be caused due a Dc to Dc regulator or even due the power supply.
Best way is to use a Laboratory power supply to feed the 12v to the motherboard and to see how much amps it consumes or to find another way to measure the amps power consumption.
Not that it tells something of a defective part, but it may gives a look of the state of the motherboard.

Other option/offer is to send the motherboard to me, so that I can examine what the fault could be.
However if it's not repairable, then it's a waste of money due the send cost.
In any case, I willing to examine, and if possible to repair your board.
When you prefer that, just sent me a Pm message.

    Hi Johnny,

i do not have 3,5V in the U702 DC regulator. I change this regulator. There is still no voltage in 4 pin. This pin is Output?

    RS232 show only this:
    Code:
    BCM74250012

    M0
    M1
    0100040000F
    00080000
    Feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Yeah, it's not clear to me if it's controlled by the cpu, or other source.
But see if you can check it by this Vdc and ohm measurements.

When you measure it by ohm, disconnect the psu for a correct measurement.

    Vu+Duo2-U702-U825-Vdc-Ohm-Measurements.jpg

Anyways to me it looks as if there is something wrong with the bootloader.
Normally it should start with something as,
    BCM74250012

    M0
    M1
    01CZL2=1

As for the Ohm measurements I see no issues, but that you don't get the U702 Ctrl voltage with at least 2 to 3.3v makes that it becomes inactive.
Nevertheless, the ohms value is correct, and so there seems to be no reason why it stays inactive.

Further measurements of my results with the U702 Ctrl is that it becomes active while booting, first zero, then 1.2v, and seconds after 3+ v.
So, this regulator is only active when the box starting up.

I think you have a issue on the software side instead of the hardware.

I will find somewhere on the forum BCM for duo2? I need to search bcm97424?

Probably a file named bcm7424 or close to it as bcm7425 etc.
But it's also possible that there is no release of it.

I do not find this version BCM. Can I unsolder this flash and programming in the programmer? I have CFE file for duo2.

If you have a good NAND Flash Programmer which support this Samsung 8 Gbits K9K8G08U0D-SIB0 nandchip, then it's possible.
I've done this often with the solo2, solo and other boxes.

I always use the TL866 PLUS NAND Flash Programmer for these jobs because it has a clone option and support allot of these chips.
But most of all, it's cheap to find on aliexpress for under the 100 dollar.
The clone chip often works mostly fine, or in some cases the box will not boot up fully but then it's good enough to be able to flash the box.

I also have this Proman programmer. Can you write me how you do it? I have file to USB update. Can I programing this file to the NAND.

If you want a howto then you need to wait for tomorrow evening or Saturday because then I'm into my workshop.
In any case, you need the nand socket for the programmer, and two same nand chips.
A working one for the master, and the other to clone to it.
