    Hi Johnny,
Do you happen to know if OLED for DM8000 should work with DM7020 HD too?
    Thank you for your reply.

Sorry, never tried because I have enough spares of them.
But it does not seem possible because of differences between the two.
But if you are in need, I can help you with one dm8000hd panel.

    Johnny,
    Thank you for your reply.
I have one DM7020HD receiver that can not boot up. Bootlog says that FPGA can not initialize OLED.
Now I ma not sure if the problem is OLED itself or there is a problem on PCB.
I have another OLED in DM8000, so I was thinking about trying to exchange those OLED to find out that the problem is not in OLED itself.
What is your opinion? Do you have a better idea how to find out the culprit of not booting?
    Thank you

I do not think that you can use the dm8000hd display on the dm7020hd because they are very different.
And I have my doubts if it's due the display, rater a motherboard pre-programmed chip with a software error.
But Friday I can take a look to it because I still have some parts from the dm7020hd.

Sorry. Today it was a bit crowded.
But I thought that I have the DM7020HD, but it is the DM7025+.

In any case, these work well on a DM8000HD display but the connector must be reversed.
As the pictures show, the red wire from the ribbon cable.

Measurable if you measure the ground connection of the display.

I cannot say if it also can be done with the dm7020, but because of this test results it looks to me plausible.

Johnny, Thank you for your tests. I also tried and exchanged the OLED module 7020HD with DM8000 and vice versa. They did not work. I have DM7020HD that does not show anything on OLED ( only blue light). Probably the PCB is faulty and also OLED itself. Anyway, I think that OLED LCD ( not complete OLED module but only LCD) should be the same and also with DM7025+ . Do you happen to know the exact model number of that OLED LCD?
    Thank you

as for the dm7025, the only number it has is..
6180-0600-5504 which refers as far as I see only to this 7025 box.

But if you want to play with this DM7025+ box I have, you can get it for only the shipping cost.
Because I have no plans this ever to use.
Just send me a private message with the address if you want it.
