The master turns the box on and off every ten to twenty times, alternately turning on or off the power key. Or with the chance to turn the power switch on and off every thirty times
Probably fixing the device with a dreamup or japharflasher and best of all optiflasher. Do you have a registry code for optiflasher? On their site a few people have solved this problem with an optiflasher.
Did you posted twice the same log ? Or does it go in Loop ? Flash a new image like openpli, like the one below, from here, https://openpli.org/download/dreambox/DM500+HD openpli-4-release-dm500hd-20191216.zip And redo the log, and post only the putty log (file attached to the post, not in the post please). TS
Use this tool that is the older optiflasher, NCF v2.5 http://www.ourdreambox.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=17187#Post17187 TS
I tested Dreamup and JarphrFLlasher and it didn't work And like in the picture below it stays on chcksum. Unfortunately, I don't have the optiflasher registry.
Reset the BIOS box as explained, flash with Bad Sector Recovery enabled, as explained. Do a Log when booting then box (leave it booting 10 minutes and let it continue the log all the 10 minutes) with the OpenPLi 4.0 and keep ALL the log, post here as file attachment. TS
Why do you keep the "network" set ? on the screenhot it's like this if you don't use a RJ45 cable to flash the box. Also... is your local PC at 192.168.1.2 ? Is your box at 192.168.1.14 accessible via the browser ? (Do you see the web interface), if you have the network cable connected ? Assure yourself that the IP 192.168.1.14 is not in use of another network device... naturally. Is your local network IPs using IPs like 192.168.1.x ? TS
When I plug in the network cable, the receiver does not receive the IP and I have to manually do the IP But when I turn on the power button on the back of the receiver and hold the button on the front of the receiver, I get the IP decoder and it appears on the TV screen and I put the same IP into the browser and go to the flash screen. I also have a silly question: Should I press the Inter key on the keyboard to reset the image below?
Yes, when you are on the option, you have to press enter to "send the command" that is on the screen to the box. It will then reset the BIOS of the box. Often it fixes most of the problems of previous wrong setups. For the Bad Sector recovery you have to do as explained on the topic I gave you the link. You can change the IP address from 192.168.1.14 to 192.168.1.10 one that you are sure is not in use, perhaps it would get things working. It happens often that the IP people use is already in use and so the DreamUp/JapharFlasher will naturally not work as the box is not capable to set itself to that IP address if already in use. I would bet the 192.168.1.14 that is set on DreamUp is already in use... and as you see the box gets the 192.168.1.10, so better to keep that one also on the DreamUp/JapharFlasher if you want to access to the box. So change it on the DreamUp Menu from 14 to 10. And try again. TS
I changed to 192.168.1.10 Because dhcp mode is enabled each time it receives a different IP, it was previously 192.168.1.14. I reset the BIOS but this time I unplugged the network cable and activated the badge recovery option and hit the same pli4 and wait and still stops at checksum mode the main problem is that when I dream up the connection option after I load the loader the flash option is not enabled and I need to press the front key several times to enable it. And the whole problem with this receiver is that when I turn on the power button behind the receiver, the receiver's headlight turns green and quickly turns red.
Now that you done the BSR and BIOS Reset, and flashed the OpenPLi 4.0 image we discussed about (you have the link)... get us a log with Putty connected, attached to your next post (not in the message). Leave Putty/Box for 10 minutes and post us the log here attached to the message. So we can check it and try to understand what happens. TS
Remember one thing, when the DreamUp sets an IP to the box, as you seen you can access with Telnet the BIOS on the IP address. But you can also with the Same IP (you set on DreamUp), access the webinterface software that DreamUp will have loaded into the box, and with that exact same IP with a browser you can use the Image Flash option to flash an image to the box. Try it to flash your clean OpenPLi 4.0. TS
All that you said I did, even on the browser screen, the bad sector was removed and I hit the reboot option but the receiver didn't come off, I waited about an hour.I had to turn on and off the power button behind the receiver, which was always a problem
You tell you do all... but for example the log is missing ! You miss the most important, it's very important that you do things we ask you to do in the way we tell you and when we tell you to do them... TS
