Hi. Drimbox 500 HD imaging but when the boot is on the receiver lights up and turns red quickly. and it won't boot.I checked with a few Adapters. But it has the same problem. It won't boot anyway. I also tested with dream up, but that's what happened.
DM500HD are unbreakable, so you can always reflash the software/image in the box by various ways, as told stoping the boot pressing the frontpanel or using a software such as JapharFlasher/DreamUp to freeze the box at boot and then with it flash a good software. Be careful, if you load a wrong image that is not compatible with your box you could end up as you described... so get 2 cables (Mini USB Cable PC-Box, and RJ45 Router-Box) with the JapharFlasher to restore it from "CA ERROR" that you could be stuck with right now. TS
Where to get japhar Fletcher software?Because I tested with Dreamup Where to get Jaafar Fletcher software and The red light stays constant and does not blink to boot.
If you have the IP, put it in your browser to flash nfi image file JapharFlasher: http://www.ourdreambox.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2012#Post2012 TS
Which sim do you have in the box ? http://www.ourdreambox.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2680#Post2680 TS
When using tools as dreamup or japhar flasher you need to have a working network and usb service port connection to a computer. Only a network connection with these tools will not work.
How can you tell this ? The FPGA chip is mostly of no use (only turn off etc). what is your problem as there is many other components that could fail. TS
yes master. using dream up staye checsum. I saw When using Putty Error fpga broken Do you have a solution to this problem؟ Once again I say the problem: When I turn on the receiver from the power key, a front LED turns green and quickly turns red and the reciver won't boot.
If you have a CRC error when flashing an image with DreamUp, you should use JapharFlasher. You will not have such error, but also you have to use both cables (mini USB Box to PC, and RJ45 PC to Router/Modem). Flash only the SSL for your box, but CRC could mean that your sim has a problem or is not compatible with DreamUp (so it seems to not be an original or A8P Sim)... JapharFlasher will work with all sims. TS
Port Lan Receiver disabled I also tested with Dreamup and Japharflash stuck on the checksum. It used to be a lan port but not now.
So you mean the LAN Port is defective ? If this is the case, remove the "v" on the network activation on JapharFlasher, and try to flash that way, it will take probably 1 hour, but you could get it fixed... you can also simply flash with the JapharFlasher via the USB cable only the SSL for the sim. Check the sim inside and confirm which one you have to use the correct SSL for it. TS
Through the usb cable, the dream up or japharflasher software stays on calculartig checkdum mode and shows no response. my reciver is orginal.
Check the sim, to be sure your box is original... many people tell us it's that or that, and then find out it's different. Please confirm what is written in your sim in the box and which sim it is (open the box and check). You need to unset the Network option in the JapharFlasher, to have the box flashing properly. TS
I'm sure it's a genuine SIM card. I opened the box and checked. When I turn on the lan cable to the receiver and turn on the receiver, the flashing lan port lights are off.
