    hello again Mr johny.
after using my dm 800 hd pvr nearly 2 years thanks to your method of repairing and hacking the tuner bsbe 401 a. using caps .(like adding a 680 uf cap to pins on tuner'side and replacing the 1000 uf cap and the two 330 uf caps on tuner rev/j)
here we go again this time.
same problem which is losing signal at horizantal and hd channels.
after opening the box i found that
    - cap n° C233 on MB (one of the four 2200 uf caps ) is out of service i replaced it but i still have doubt that the new one is also burned. i will replace it again.
    - but also i found a little yelow spot on a tiny resistor ( i think) on the tuner board: i think it's the r902 next to the 220uf cap on the back side of the tuner. ( please see picture )
i need some informations about the value of that (R902) resistor and how to test it before replacing it.

do you recomande some other verifications

thank you a lot for your help

Yes you can use a older type resistor, they all do the same if it's the same value.
And you can place it in any direction.

Resistor color band you can calculate here but it is..
    2.7kΩ Red, violet, red, gold
