Hello I get foulty duo2 box normal starting but problem is signal video out black screen and when want flashing from usb get info update press power i try push and nothing happenes i think cpu is foulty maybe who have circuit or hardware and share ? br dmd
Sorry, but I have no schematics of these box but before thinking of a cpu error I would check the box with a serial cable and a terminal program as Putty or the windows Hyperterminal to see what is happening. Because the failure may also happen due the bootloader/software.
Another usb stick you tried? And with RCA cable. Or another hdmi cable. Unfortunately, I hear many users with damage vu+ receivers.
Unfortunately, I hear many users with damage vu+ receivers. Yeah indeed.., Mainly (I think) because of the many different image files and bootloaders etc. But trying to flash the box with several different usb sticks is a good advice if you have trouble with reading from a usb stick. Anyways, this error message, USB: Locating Class FF Vendor 148F Product 5372: Driver not found. May say something about the boot loader and in some cases seems to be related to the boot z. As given advice from the vuplus-comunity..... But it seems not always be the solution and it could also mean that it can't understanding the usb stick, in that case is could work with another usb stick from another brand. But searching further into the log I read this... NAND device: 1024MiB, SLC, page size: 2048, OOB size: 64 brcmnand brcmnand.0: 1024MiB total, 128KiB blocks, 2KiB pages, 16B O amming ECC Bad block table found at page 524224, version 0x01 Bad block table found at page 524160, version 0x01 nand_read_bbt: bad block at 0x00000fde0000 Which could indicate that the nand flash chip has some bad blocks, or the readings to it has some issues which could be related to the software. In any case, as advice given by bibic, disconnect at least the hard disk, and try to flash the software with another usb stick. It could be that the box reads a usb stick, but give some issues with reading from it. Another stick may give a better result. If it still won't helping than I would consider to replace the flash nand chip for a new one.
