I do not have any equipment or tools to work with such small details.
Totally agree with you. And probably there will not be an easy decision in restoring boxing.
I myself will not be able not only to dismantle the small details, but also to replace them.
In our area, the details are not available.
I will not it up for repairs to in the firm.
    This is not economically feasible.
I'll throw it at the dump.
Let's not waste our time on restoring this boxing.
I can send you boxing and two power supplies for spare parts.

Yeah, well it was a fine box when it was released but nowadays there are much better dreambox receivers which are allot faster then the good old dreamboxes dm800hd/8000hd.
But still, it's just what you prefer, you may also sent the motherboard to me for repair.
In any case, I will give you a Pm for more details.

Hi, Johnny, there's only one hope left for your help. receiver 8000 clone sim jafar what image is flooded I do not remember. The receiver does not start when turned on, the display blinks for a moment, the blue LED is constantly on.the voltage in the PSU is normal. all correspond to the stated. the download log is like this-
    BCM97400
    AB
    001A168C
    1s

and yet, I'm a little confused by this moment, I always have 6 volts there, how it should be - I don't know

Th 2/6v is correct, it can be 2 till 6v

Make sure it's not a related to the boot loader, as was the case here a while ago.

Johnny, I read what is written in this thread. I replaced max 3232. No change. Japhar Flasher does not react in any way to turning on the receiver. What else can you try?
    the log is the same:
    BCM97400
    AB
    001A168C
    1s

Yes, it's tricky because it got this error where it stops after the 001A168C, and I haven't experienced this with a dreambox as far as I remember.

But still judging by a boot loader issue...

You have an output from the rs232, so when using an (old) dreamup, and set to serial upload only, it should still work regarding the boot loader upload.
Other option is ms hyperterminal, the file upload.
But bearing in mind, it may take a while as far as the upload is concerned.

Another possibility is the older optiflasher with the boot loader fix option, but that depends on whether you still have the ferrari and/or dm8000hd sim2 card.
Anyway, my method was to flash the original sim card that came with the box and install the appropriate boot loader and software.
And if that works, convert to the japhar sim.
Maybe it is also possible with only the japhar sim, but not to my knowledge.

Hi, Johnny, I am repairing the receiver together with hecha71. Or maybe this behavior of the receiver is due to a problem in the firmware M27V401 U902. I have a programmer to try to change it. Or I can read it and send it to you if needed

Keep in mind that these are only OTP (one time programmable) and could only be bad if they are defective, or has read issues due a motherboard or when present a socket issue.
Thus, if you can read it in a programmer and see readable data in the begin, then you could assume that it's fine.
