    Thank you for the scientific explanation of this item Yes, this resistance is a protector for Nand flash.
    Of course, I did not know the exact amount of resistance, which is zero, which was used as a jumper, and instead of a value of 22 ohms.

    Rescue image sim2.30, sorry no clue but maybe the recovery mode may help you, see the post from gsarwar55 for more about this.
    In any case, if you have this sim 2.30, then you must use the image files made for the dm520 sim2.30

    I know how to flash through a web-interface and I have an image. I can't get there until I ask for "rescue-dm520.bin". I connect to the PC via mini-usb and go using putty to the console. How to flash the image using the console?

    I think, normally it should always be possible to reached these box by the network for to use the recovery mode etc.
    As for the question, howto flash a image file by using putty and the console, maybe it helps when you search with google to dreambox putty console image flashing

    Or maybe, google search to how install with mini usb serial dm520hd may also helps.

    Some xtra ideas...
    In any case, the front soft push button method is a bit hard to execute, but basically, with some luck and several attempts you should mannish to reach the interface.

    However, another method which may work is to use the telnet and to type,
    echo "rescue" >> /proc/stb/fp/boot_mode

    Wget way could be something as,
    1. wget https://www.dreamboxupdate.com/open...0/vmlinux.gz-rescue-3.4-r1-dm520-20190215.bin
    This info has been found on the inet, and I can not say if it's helps or works.
    Also, not sure if you need another bin file, but if so, then the best way is to upload your bin file to your own web, and wget to it.
