Hello everyone , I have a problem with a dm500hd pingtech that after a few days have mounted a japhar Sim stopped detect the tuner A and has also stopped working the tuner B ( a867 dtt ) is detected but not by vision ... I had read on an old discussion of a forum of a modification to be done to revise the tuner only That there are no more pictures ... I dismantled and there are no swollen capacitors and the power supply has been replaced but nothing the same problem also changing firmware ... you have tips ? Thank you PS : I have already tried the hardware changes to increase the voltage to the tuner , and reflash with the bad sector recovery option , but still nothing . Tuner not found (empty ) pen and dtt detected but not working .
If after changing the simcard, and also software change has arisen, then it has often nothing to do with a hardware error. Tuners are often not recognized because the simcard is not communicating anymore, and so not encoding. But be sure that you use the correct bootloader and image file that is appropriate for your simcard, as well as the hardware. And often it's better when you have uploaded the image file, also uploading the correct bootloader afterwards. Other solution which often helps is to download/install a backup nfi image file that is suitable for your original simcard and hardware of the box. I have had this with a dm800se box, previously it was a sim 2.10 box, and chanced it to a japhar box. However going back wasn't possible, always the no tuner issue with new sim 2.10 images. Replacing a other tuner did not help. But after flashing a backup image file it just worked. But about the tuner modification, this was for the dm500hd's clones first production.
