I have bought a dreambox 900 original the DTT tuner that I find original is OK, but when I put a tuner sat (I tried many dvb2 dual, trial, dvbs2x, etc.) it tune few channels. Where I can try the fault in motherboard? I try all the images dreamelite, gemini, openatv ecc. The same tuner and sat configuration is ok with a DM 920 that I have. Thanks.
Bad reception which is not caused by the tuner itself.... I haven't experienced this situation yet on a dm900 so I can't give a solution or good advice. I think it's best to check the voltages related to the tuner slot (see here for an overview) which are generally the 3.3v/5v and 12vdc. Furthermore, it think that it can also be caused by the cpu, thinking of a bad and or interrupted connection between the cpu and the tuner. A defective or dirty tuner slot is also possible.
