thank you for your help the same problem as before I think I'll bought a programmer What do you think of minipro tl866cs you are very nice
Minipro tl866cs is a good programmer and can also be rebuild to the minipro tl866a if needed. But buying a new nand chip seems to me cheaper, in any case you need to remove the chip for this process. But did you have also tried to erase the chip with the bbs. As long as the script is correct, it could be possible to fix it this way. Not always, but sometimes.
Uh, I never knew that the Vu boxes has the Samsung K9K8G08U0D. As far as I know the K9F1G08U0D. But sites as Aliexpress or Ebay just sell these K9K8G08U0D nand chips.
I had starting block offset issue and got it to flash. Once you get the error switch the box off then switch it back on, keep pressing the reset button until the chip info appears then press flash.
Sorry I mean the refresh button on bbs I've just done this on an old openbox (solo clone) but the security chip is not working.
Hello jb I just bought my ic programmer minipro K9K8G08U0D it is not supported in the list IC you can help me find my happiness thank you in advance
Sorry to say, I think that something has gone very wrong with the communication, this programmer does not support this nand chip, and is used mainly for the programming of the security chips as was discussed in another topic. Programmers that do support this chip are more expensive, such as the Tnm2000 and Tnm5000. Maybe it does work with this programmer after an update, but personally I use the Tnm programmers for nand chips. Some programmers update... For the Nand flash chips, and to support allot of it, and not so expensive. There are while writing this update two newer programmers. One is at this moment my favorite which is the TL86-Plus also known as the ProMan Professional Programmer. The other is the TL866II Plus USB programmer which also support allot of nand flash chips.
