I have a problem with solo 4k. I can not update from the usb port. It looks like the files are protected from writing. I wanted to give all chmod 777 files, but unfortunately it does not give anything. Telnet and ssh is active.

What if you add/enable the empty file named force.update into the usb file.
Just take a text editor and save is as force.update, not force.update.txt

I've tried to upload image with this file. Unfortunately, it's the same. Some files are not overwritten. I can't delete files from the flash because chmod does not allow. I also tried to upload the original image of the VU. Unfortunately, the same. Vuutil does not heal this tuner. Only shows that he is entering CFE.

    I wonder what it means:
    Code:
    [ 303.834350] EXT4-fs (mmcblk0p4): error count since last fsck: 230
    [ 303.840466] EXT4-fs (mmcblk0p4): initial error at time 1492624746: ext4_iget:4251: inode 220419
    [ 303.849208] EXT4-fs (mmcblk0p4): last error at time 7: ext4_put_super:789: inode 220419

I tried to do e2fsck, but it shows that the media is mounted and I can not do fsck.

Sorry but although I own this box, I have no experiences with this kind of issues.
Normally there is often something to find on the internet, but since this box is not old there is less to find.
But I wonder what this means..
Board ID is zero! - You need to hardware fix (ECO) it!

    Based on the error..
RESET CAUSE: 0x000003 main_chip_input power_on (2 of 22 possible causes) and searching to it, then it is an issue which seems to be more common.

I don't know what could be causing this, but I'm thinking a usb related problem, or a hdd.
In any case, it seems that there is a weak, or overloaded voltage problem, thinking related to the 5v.

This may be causing problems with HDMI that no longer works reliably :(

That seems to me to a lightning strike issue or may be a bad connection, or an outdated soldering problem that most likely has to do with the cpu.
Sometimes noticeable when there is some pressure on the CPU.
An reflow job can work, but without the right tools it is not without risk.

    Aliraza63 and raza05 like this.
