Hdmi issues are often complicate to solve, if it can be solved.
    But based on seeing this,
    Code:
[ 2.413472] HDMI: CEC start ... state is now 1
    [ 2.414491] set input to 0
    [ 2.414810] set fb to 2(-1)
    [ 2.416118] fallback to startvideomode '720p50'
[ 2.419277] bcmfb: creating surface with pixel format 0x07e48888 (BPXL_eA8_R8
    _G8_B8)
[ 2.453864] HDMI: ignore false positive disconnect!
[ 2.454443] HDMI: now powered down
[ 2.454857] HDMI: Unable to retrieve Rx EDID info.. no rx device
    [ 2.455561] using 50.00Hz as MonitorRefreshRate
    [ 2.456085] SET FORMAT: display[0], format='720p50'
[ 2.532352] HDMI: CEC use logical address 6
[ 2.532854] HDMI: CEC init completed... state is now 3!
[ 2.754452] HDMI: CEC send ok!

I would try it on another tv set, or maybe better an monitor with hdmi, one that can handle the lower resolutions.
Or check the hdmi connector for bad pins or something like that, check also the hdmi solder pins.
Be sure that you're hdmi cable is fine.

In any case, as far as I see it right now is, it won't get feedback data from the connected monitor, therefore it falls back to the lowest resolution.

One idea is to see if the hdmi gets working when the tuner is not present.

Other idea may be, access the box with the webif browser, play with the hdmi settings, and what also may change things is to play a movie from the usb, it may than give a picture on screen.

Hello.. i have another dreambox 900 and same tv and cable is working..so there must be hardware isue..i also try on another tv in kitchen and also black screen..i also connect to monitor with hdmi ..same no signal. hdmi port looks good inside..i check with microscope..
I have spare dm900 so maybe i will replace hdmi from this box .. motherboard looks good..not visible damage on traces etc .. shame we dont have schematic to check..like on iphones you can check line on ZXW software.
tuner was not connected when i was making log.

Yeah there where never released a schematic for the dream boxes that's why had started a long time ago the support for the dream and vu boxes to give some help to it.

Anyways, you can at least measure with a multi meter at ohms settings every hdmi pin if it's connected to the circuit by measure it between a ground spot and the hdmi pins.
Something as this example from a vu-duo board.
