    Hi Johnny,

    As for my knowledge about this receiver is zero but it looks as if it has some wrong software, or boot loader on the flash chip or the flash chip corrupt..
    In any case, searching to M0080080000CZP#@ with google give one owner (gjstroom) which also struggles with the same issue as you have.
    Not sure if he was be able to solve it but there seems a way to interrupt the boot loader, more about this see the archive post on sat-universe.com

    As for the BCM7429 Broadband Studio.
    Maybe you are be able to connect to it with this BCM97421 zip file.
    Just in case you not have it you can grab it here.
    As for the installation to the Broadband Studio I needed to use the Bcm97429CBSetup.msi file.
    Needles to say that you first need to install the Broadband Studio program which can be found on the internet.

    I need a bootloader to be sure. I can not find anywhere on the internet. I wrote to Vu + support. Do you think they will send?

    I was still thinking on one solution. Buy SoloSE, read the contents of NAND by bbs and upload it to the damaged one. Do you think it will work?

    In some cases it works to take the data from the nand flash chip with the bbs software.
    However it may not boot up fully, but it writes at least the boot loader to the next box.
    So yes it may a solution to take the data from a working box, and to upload it to the defective one.

    But a real 1 to 1 copy can as far as my experiences only be reached by using a nand flash chip reader.
    Not all can this, I have one nand flash reader which really can do this, and support allot of nand flash chips.

    But basically you need only the cfe file which in some cases are included in the solose map from a image file.

    As for the cfe file, I have here a jtag(I2c) boot loader related to the solo2.solose2
    Not sure if it works on your type box, but solo or solo2 may use the same cfe file.
    Of course, I do not known if it's do any harm, but based on my experiences you are always be able to make a bbs connection and change it.
    Or with some bad luck your nand flash chip may become locked with the famous 0 sector issue, but this can in some cases be fixed by erasing the whole chip several times.
    In any case, use it on your own risk because since I don't have this box I'm not be able to test it with this method.

    One note, this is not a cfe file for a original solo box, it's for a clone but still it may work or search for the solo cfe file for the original boxes which may also work for the solo se.

    I'm not sure what you mean, but when I search to solo2se jtag files then I see enough postings/solutions about it with google.

    Yeh indeed, it's mostly about the clones, but I think you can just use the solo cfe file nevertheless I have not these box so I'm limited with giving the correct solution.
    As for you box, you can better try to ask it on the http://www.vuplus-community.net
    As into the hardware all Vu+ forum.

    Your help would highly be appreciated.

    You could try the xml file HY27UF084G8F which could be already in your bbs list and looks as this..
    Code:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <Flash maker="Hynix" name="HY27UF084G8F" type="NAND" technology="SLC">
      <Command type="Nand" programmode="Block" maxbyte="2048"/>
      <ID>
        <Maker maxbyte="1" offset="0x00">0xAD</Maker>
        <Device maxbyte="1">
          <DevId offset="0x01">0xDC</DevId>
        </Device>
      </ID>
      <Size unit="gbit">4</Size>
      <Sector uniform="true" secure="false">
        <MaxSector>4096</MaxSector>
        <Size unit="kbyte">128</Size>
      </Sector>
    </Flash>

    You could also edit it as this and add it to your bbs/flashes list named as
    H27U4G8F2DTR
    Code:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <Flash maker="Hynix" name="H27U4G8F2DTR" type="NAND" technology="SLC">
      <Command type="Nand" programmode="Block" maxbyte="2048"/>
      <ID>
        <Maker maxbyte="1" offset="0x00">0xAD</Maker>
        <Device maxbyte="1">
          <DevId offset="0x01">0xDC</DevId>
        </Device>
      </ID>
      <Size unit="gbit">4</Size>
      <Sector uniform="true" secure="false">
        <MaxSector>4096</MaxSector>
        <Size unit="kbyte">128</Size>
      </Sector>
    </Flash>

    Also the H27U2G8F2CTR can be used for the H27U4G8F2DTR when you only change the,
    Size unit="gbit">2 to 4
    and MaxSector>2048 to 4096
    In any case, comparing it with other 4 Gbit (512M x 8 bit) NAND Flash xml files, they are all the same maker/dev Id etc.
    However, It should work but I'm not be able to test this out, because I do not have this nand chip.

    I have no idea what the effect is when the boot loader of the et8500 is used on this solo Se v2, but based on the information it seems to me that the usb part refuses with it.

    In any case, it looks like if you have the right cfe boot loader, your problem can be solved with it.

    Aliraza63 had posted several loaders a while ago, including for the solo se, maybe there is one that will help you.
    You'll find them here, but I can't say for sure which one is suitable, or if there is a suitable one.

    thank for Your reply johnny, I tested all of this, no one works.
    In the output HT the last part (the last start) shows me that there is no usb, no mac and no IP.
    Is there no possibillity to get them programmed? I can enter orders.

    Not sure if it takes you to the right direction but searching to Vu+ changing mac address may give some ideas as here at sat-universe.com.
    Or maybe Toysoft can help you with that, because maybe he knows more about this.
