Hi Everyone, my Dm7020Hdv2 with the original Dream-multimedia Dvb-C & T2 dual tuner (not the original tuner for this box) seems to be failing. Tuner A needed to be switch-off, to receive T2 signal, if it is switch-on, no channel is received. Meaning to say, only Tuner B is working. I had tried flashing with a new image and found Tuner A could not scan for any channel except Tuner B can. Wondering what was wrong with it? Please tell me if there is any solution to this? Thank you

This type of problem is often difficult to solve and can have many reasons.

This problem can also occur with a dm8000hd box.
But I've been able to fix it sometimes in the past by replacing the psu.

    Other solutions can be,
Switching the tuners in the tuner slots, sometimes tuner C wants to take the lead on tuner D.

In a fresh install, remove both external tuners first, then do the channel scan for the onboard tuners with the new install. Then add an extra tuner, scan the channels and when ready place the fourth in it etc.

And if it worked fine for a long period of time before, and later spontaneously refused, then I think about the psu again, or a problem with one of the tuners.

Try to replace the two capacitors,

    C109
    C104
    and perhaps C103
