Although the board is a bit newer than the older, the rs232 circuit seems to me the same, as also the same rs232 Sipex chip.
And so, it should have the same connections as the older dm500C/S boxes, as you can see on this schematic.

As for the DB9 connector, pin1 to 5 are connected to the same numbers as the motherboard connector, 6 to 9 are starting from pin 10..

    Hello,

If possible, and if you have a smartcard reader on your PC, it would be great for the Team knowledge if you could run one of our software to read/communicate with the sim A2P on your DM500+, so we know how it works.

    Thank you in advance !

Since I do not have these dm500+ boards, I'm not be able to check these.
The older board which I own are totally different with most voltage regulators than these.

But since I only see the 3.3v, and not a voltage as 5v or even 12v, then it may be handy to measure these marked spots,

All the main voltages seems to be present, thus normally when it's in this error state,
    No network connection
Not be able to flash the box
No access to the board with a rs232 connection.

So it looks as if the box has been bricked.
Then what's remain is to preform a Jtag job but..
The last I had done it was when I were as least ten years younger and with the older dm500S/C receivers.
So, I'm pretty rusty to dig all of it again up, as also I have some doubts if the jtag process is the same for the dm500 plus.

This box never had a "clone" version, and this is an original box,

So I would definitely try to use the DreamUp/JapharFlasher and with a REAL RS232 cable and PC with REAL RS232, connect a cable to the box to flash it with a working DM500+ image,

    Try the Gemini : gemini-470-dm500plus-200912112351
    MEGA :
    Code:

Flash it and please keep connected the RS232 with a Putty software on the back to see the log of the box when it boots. Perhaps it will work in Serial mode at 9600 bps, or 115200bps, try the various speeds (should be same as on the DM500s boxes, Johnny could give some tips about logging the serial port for logs).
